An Oxcart Full of DowryPackaging Design, illustration

In the old days of Taiwan, wealthy families would give their marrying daughter handsome dowries loaded on oxcarts. An oxcart full of dowry represents an extravagant wedding. As time goes by, the younger generation no longer understands how glorifying this kind of wedding is. Through my design, I hope to incorporate the warmth of Taiwanese traditional culture in this packaging and add value to the traditional business. This packaging echoes the concept that the old-timers in the 1950s in Taiwan always travel with just a suitcase. It is designed as a suitcase that can be disassembled and assembled as an oxcart for display. After that, it can also return the compartments to the form of the suitcase that holds goods.
